Emerge launches new ‘Emerge 2 Life’ Programming

On February 14, 2024, we proudly launched the Emerge 2 Life program, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward empowering individuals on their path to recovery. Inspired by a nautical theme, Emerge 2 Life aims to guide participants through the turbulent seas of recovery with the support of peer recovery navigators.

Comprising three phases—the Anchor Phase, Discovery Phase, and Navigation Phase—the program offers residents a structured approach to healing and growth. Participants embark on a transformative journey toward sustainable recovery through self-discovery and goal-setting.

At the heart of the Emerge 2 Life program are our dedicated peer recovery supporters ( Navigators) and housing staff, who play a pivotal role in empowering individuals to reclaim their lives. Drawing from shared experiences, peer supporters offer personalized guidance and understanding, fostering empowerment and resilience in recovery.

They assist participants in charting their course through recovery pathway exploration, helping them set and achieve goals to rebuild their lives and maintain long-term recovery. By providing one-on-one coaching and facilitating group activities, peer supporters create a supportive community where individuals can find hope, camaraderie, and strength.

Through the Emerge 2 Life program, participants can access diverse, supportive resources and activities. From socialization and life skills workshops to art classes and financial literacy courses, the program offers a holistic approach to recovery.

In partnership with community volunteers and peer navigators, we strive to create an inclusive and recovery-centered environment where individuals can thrive and embark on healing and transformation.
